My obligation

I visited Kate. It's been quite a while. I saw that water color painting is still on the wall in her living room. I have forgoten about that piece. But I'm proud. It was 2001, Kate gave me this job and showed me this picture.."kau lukis gambar ni...ni gambar rumah kampung famili aku di Mukah..bila siap aku bayar!" ..."ok..but no date-line ar!.." "ok"...no date-line means no pressure...just over a week....siap!...

Can you paint another one?..when?Now?...I wish I could...no,take your time..still, I'l let you now.Tq.

Aside from being a self-taught artist, I am a mother, god-mother to many, and a freelance entertainer. I would say being able to find my 'creative time' it's the most difficult . Lately I have a lot of responsibilities both at home and outside (outstations). Since 'arts' is not a necessity but a pleasure to most people, it's quite a challenging for an artist to be in the business. With the compassionate heart I have for people and appreciation for all things creative, I retain my obligation.
